QUALITY
The quality of our products matters deeply to us. As an ISO 9001-2008 certified company, every aspect of our production goes through quality checks. Since many of our products involve custom printed requirements, every stage of production goes through rigorous QC and QA – starting with the card stock used for our card games and playing cards, all the way to the shipper cartons used for dispatch. We’ve put systems in place to keep quality the top priority.
Different raw materials go into our production process. All card stock used for our card games and playing cards is made from the best material and imported from different parts of Europe. We store this card stock in a temperature-controlled environment for a minimum of 10 days after import, since sheets need proper seasoning after being moved from one place to another.
This card stock features special smooth cardboard, coated on both sides with an opaque layer within — essential for the opacity required in both card games and custom playing cards. The inks and chemicals we use during printing are non-toxic, with no lead content, and most are imported from Japan and Europe by trusted third-party suppliers. We’re also one of the few manufacturers offering different coating options for cards and games, from standard aqueous coatings to high-gloss UV coatings. All packaging material is checked for consistent quality, and we source card stock from a single supplier for the tuck boxes, game boxes, and display boxes we make. This card stock’s fiber content helps outer packaging withstand excess heat, increasing shelf life. Beyond checking raw materials at our manufacturing plant, we hold production standards high across the board. It’s this focus on quality that led us to cut all cards on automatic punching machines. While most manufacturers cut 10 to 20 decks of cards in a single pass, we use the automatic punch process – a technique used by just a few manufacturers worldwide – to cut each card of the deck individually. This gives us that smooth finish with accurate, exact corners, so you won’t find protruding edges on any deck we produce. Quality is, and always will be, a priority for us.

The fiber content of this card stock is such that the outer packaging of games can sustain excess heat thus increasing shelf life. Apart from the “QC” check on the raw materials that we consume at our manufacturing plant, we also make sure that the production standards are kept high. It is for the quality of our products that we have been cutting all cards on automatic punching machines. While most of the manufacturers use a cutting process where they cut almost 10 to 20 decks of cards through a single cut, we use the automatic punch process, which is used by just a few manufacturers worldwide. Here, each and every card of the deck is cut individually. This enables us to get that smooth finish with accurate and exact corners. You will not find any deck with protruding edges. Quality is a priority for us.

PRODUCTIVITY
Our printing unit runs on large-format offset printing machines from KBA, Germany. A single large-format KBA RAPIDA 105 offset machine can print about 12,000 sheets per hour, with each sheet holding nearly 110 poker-size cards for our card games and playing cards. Our coating machines handle the same sheet format at a matching speed of about 12,000 sheets per hour, and our automatic punching machines keep pace with this printing output on a day-to-day basis. Different card sizes require different setups on our cutting machines, and cutting and collating are fully automated — from the smallest card size up to Jumbo, whatever your project needs. Our rigid box-making machines can create game boxes up to 12″ x 12″ x 3″, using Smurfit Kappa boards for all the rigid boxes and game boards we produce. Quality is only assured when high-quality materials go into manufacturing, and our skilled staff makes sure production stays on schedule. Running double shifts at the production plant gives us the capacity to complete even complex production jobs in record time, made possible because every stage of the job is detailed to each department before production begins.
We make card games and games for clients across the world using customer-specific artworks. Working with us, you’ll find we feel closer than the manufacturer next door — we may be oceans apart, but our feedback and response times are quicker than you’d expect. At The Ace Card Company, our pre-press department forwards all proofs within 4 working days of receiving artworks for client approval. Once approved, the job goes to press within 72 hours. After proper curing time, printed sheets move to aqueous or UV coating per client specifications, and the next stage of production begins within 2 working days. A dedicated packaging department ensures tuck boxes, display boxes, game instruction booklets, and cello wrapping are all ready before cards come in for assembly, and further quality checks at assembly mean we ship goods that are perfect in every aspect. The entire production process is completed in-house. While we request a lead time of one month, most job orders are completed within 3 weeks. Being just 20 KM from the International Airport means air shipments can go out even on short notice, to any destination worldwide. Our partnerships with reputed shipping lines ensure your custom playing cards and games reach you on time, anywhere in the world, and every shipment leaves our factory warehouse fully insured up to your city’s CFS. All tuck boxes, inner boxes, master cartons, and outer cartons are made from export-worthy materials, so sea shipments are never affected by changes in climate during transit. We make sure every customer receives the quality they expect from our company — because we want to be known as the best, worldwide.

TECHNOLOGY
Keeping pace with the latest changes in the industry matters to us. Our press floor runs the latest KBA 105 printing machines, and every job is printed through the CTP (computer-to-plate) process for excellent print results. CTP with FM Dot gives us the finest resolution and print fidelity, with superior dot reproduction for precise print management and brilliant color reproduction on every deck of custom playing cards we produce. We strive to keep our printing processes as “green” as possible — our inks are non-toxic and vegetable-based, and we print without alcohol in the fountain solutions of our presses. Alcohol is a traditional wetting agent in printing, but we’ve eliminated it because it releases harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the air. Through ongoing upgrades, we’ve significantly cut the amount of press solvent our company uses.
Our aqueous and UV coatings are applied through eco-friendly coaters that deliver precise coating weight on each sheet via Anilox rollers, giving us consistent quality and feel across any number of sheets. Technology makes a real difference in product quality — one of the main reasons our cards outperform other brands is that they last longer in game play. Our cards won’t get sticky, even after countless games. We’ve developed our best-quality coatings through in-house R&D. Technology has also improved how we cut and collate our card decks: we cut every card through the punch process individually, and our cutting plant still keeps pace with our high print production capacity. Our cutting/collating plant can detect missing cards in a deck, automatic packing into tuck boxes is available for standard card decks, and cello wrapping is a fully automatic process that seals each deck properly before it leaves assembly. We offer the highest quality of card games and custom playing cards at the best possible price, backed by a genuine commitment to service and integrity. We pledge to satisfy our most valuable asset — our customers — with the utmost professionalism, efficiency, and competence.
