Will there be a design setup charge?

No. We do not charge any design setup. There are no hidden charges whatsoever. You pay for the products and shipping charges if applicable and nothing other than that.

Do I need to setup an account before ordering?

No. You do not need to set up an account with us before placing an order. At The Ace Card Company we have tried to make the process very simple and straight forward for the customer and have kept our systems customer centric.

So how do I place an order and what is the process for ordering?

Fill up the 'Request A Quote' form with your project details. Our estimation staff will work out a quote for you to review. Upon approving the quote, the order is officially placed and you send your files for pre-press checking. We forward PDF proof files for approval, and once approved the job goes into production. Mass production then begins and our staff coordinates shipping arrangements. You can get project updates at any time.

What are the acceptable file formats for print production?

We accept Adobe Illustrator files up to Version CS6, Adobe Photoshop PSD files, and PDF files, ideally with native files and all layers. Fonts should be provided in a fonts folder or converted to outlines, and all text should be vector, not raster. We also accept CorelDraw X7 files, plus TIFF and JPG files (without text within them).

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Yes, there is a minimum order quantity. The Ace Card Company is most economical on medium to large order quantities, with a minimum of 2000 units (slightly lower quantities can sometimes be accommodated). We regularly manufacture orders of 50,000+ units for clients worldwide.

What is your production period?

Production time depends on the type of project — a custom playing card order differs from a party game with hundreds of cards packed into rigid game boxes, which differs again from a board game with special components. Timelines are provided after understanding the nature of the project, and production dates are marked only after proof approval.

Does The Ace Card Company provide ink proofs?

Yes, digital proofs are provided if requested, at a charge. As a ballpark figure, digital proofs for a custom playing card or card game set are $40.00 including shipping. A full board game has a higher proofing charge.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship almost anywhere across the world — to an international airport near you, a CFS, a warehouse, or via door delivery, including Amazon deliveries if required.

What is the acceptable mode of payment?

The most convenient payment mode is wire transfer of funds. We also accept credit card payments.

Where do you manufacture the products? How do you ship?

All products are manufactured at our two production plants in India and shipped either by courier (FedEx or DHL), to an international airport, or by sea route to a CFS, warehouse, or door delivery.

What are your order cancellation or return policies?

All products are customized to client specifications, so customers are asked to thoroughly check proofs before approval. Sales are final once ordered and paid for, and orders in production cannot be cancelled or refunded. If a defect is found, please inform us within 5 days of receiving the goods so it can be addressed.
